AMIU Inspector - Larnaka airport (Seasonal)

Short description:

The AMIU Inspector is reporting to the Team Leader Airside. Main responsibility of the position is to ensure the smooth and safe airside operation through the effective monitoring of the airside environment.

Responsibilities:

• inspecting the airfield lighting, pavements, aircraft directional signage, strips and markings in the manoeuvring areas

• recording safety occurrences, including accidents and incidents

• implementing the FOD management program

• coordinating airside operations

• participating in the Wildlife Hazard Management Plan

• monitoring airside works and enforcing safety regulations and the airside vehicle operators program

• participating in the response to airport emergencies and incidents

• performing and participating in safety inspections and audits, hazard identification, safety risk assessments and investigations of safety occurrences.

The interested candidates shall be able to work shifts on a 24-hour basis.
